Draw at Four
A year ago I created this event that forms a community that is only set up for a brief time at four o clock and then ceased to exist.
I wanted to investigate what factors create a community. In this case there was no close physical proximity, so it was a sharing of time (to draw in the same moment) rather than space that become the commonality.

Those involved share their drawings and see others, a small insight into a rainy Saturday of strangers.

Afte a talk by the creator of X marks the Bokship I considered this in a new way as a book. Each of these drawings posted was a page of a book, which slowly came into being at four. Almost an online publication of one moment.

I wanted to repeat it with this new thinking in place as well as to consider how communities can be constructed and dismantled quickly.
