Beginning with asking friends and family to take me on a walk to their favourite place we set off and talked about what made the place we were going so special.

Everyone told me stories and the motion of walking side by side allowed us to talk easily and follow where the conversion led.

When we reached the place I drew it and gave it to each person I was with to thank them for taking me on the walk.

I recorded these stories, tangents of conversation and our interaction and made them into books alongside drawings and photographs from our walk.

These intimate and personal stories were exhibited side by side in a tent.

Places matter to us, we treasure and protect them and our stories and subjective experience often reveal something very different and so much more than a photograph or first impression- it is the stories which matter.
