Hello!
I'm Bethan and I am a multidisciplinary artist exploring relationships with place, nature and each other. With a focus on drawing and through a combination of conversational and observational techniques I try to reveal what it is to feel belonging and connection. I explore unusual ways for people to share stories and I attempt to capture and record personal narratives with honesty and exposing some of the beauty and humour of our everyday lives. I hope through doing this greater empathy and understanding between people and for our environment can grow, and we can find joy in other people around us and the places we are in.

This year I am also training to offer coaching for artists and arts and cultural organisations so do get in touch if you would like to find out more.

It made me focus for two whole hours just on drawing. I’ve found it difficult to get started and this helped me rediscover the love of a soft, dark pencil!

Just wanted to thank Bethan for a lovely drawing session yesterday.
I didn't have time to be worried about the blank page! That's probably the best thing I took away yesterday - stop worrying and just do it. I love to draw, just have a crazy busy life like lots of people and just don't make time for it. Thanks for some new motivation.
