I am a multidisciplinary artist exploring people’s relationships with place, nature and each other. With a focus on drawing and through a combination of conversational and observational techniques I try to reveal what it is to feel belonging and connection. I explore unusual ways for people to share stories and I attempt to capture and record personal narratives with honesty and exposing some of the beauty and humour of our everyday lives. I hope through doing this greater empathy and understanding between people and for our environment can grow, and we can find joy in other people around us and the places we are in. I hope now to explore how drawing, storytelling and a participatory practice can join with research in these areas to create positive change.
