This event was to create an activity that was new for a place and in doing so leaving a new trace.
Ashton memorial in Williamson Park is an iconic place in Lancaster which has been the focus of many artists to study, it is also a popular park and place to play.
This event combines the two and is therefore conforming to normal social activities but in combining them it becoms unusual.
Can't do anyting perfectly when moving to fast.
The challenge was to capture the beautiful place whilst hop scotching around.Taking away your control in producing something perfect through play.
This created an amusing spectacle for passers by and a different kind of interaction for those taking part.
